Punctuality and Registration

The threshold for persistent absence (PA)  was reduced from 15% to 10% in September 2015. The DfE recognises the successful work undertaken by schools and academies to improve overall attendance rates and reduce the numbers of PA pupils and now wants to increase the level of challenge.

Punctuality is a good habit for everyone and is considered to be important throughout your life. Arriving late to school or lessons inconveniences a whole range of people and can affect the learning opportunities of many learners, including YOU!

a) Be on site for 8.45am and 1.05pm in order to make your way to your form room and lessons on time.

b) If you arrive to school after 8.50am and 1.15pm you will be recorded as late by your form tutor/subject teacher and you will receive a same day 15 minute lunchtime detention.
