A group of our year 9 students attended the Wakefield STEM Fair on Friday the 14th of March as a reward for their consistent effort and hard work on our first STEM day which took place in February. They took part in a series of workshops including motor engineering, radiation in medicine, developing animations, soil and earthworm surveying, a forensic investigation and a session looking at the possible solutions to climate change. The students threw themselves into every challenge presented to them and a great (and educational) day was had by all! Miss Egan.
