Grade 7 £23,166 - £25,694 (£10,686.69 - £11,852.88 Pro-rata and dependent on experience)

20 hours per week, Term time only + 2 INSET days

A vacancy exists for an enthusiastic and passionate Success Mentor, hopefully with experience of working within a school setting. The role is to work with students, family members, school staff and outside agencies to provide support and challenge to students who need help overcoming barriers to attendance.

The successful candidate will have Level 3 qualifications, GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent Inc. Maths & English.

You will understand the importance and benefits of good attendance and the negative consequences of poor attendance. An understanding of issues affecting children, self-esteem, bullying, abuse and how to address these issues.

The personal qualities expected is someone who is able to relate to children in a calm, caring, approachable, firm but understanding manner.

Relief Cleaning/CateringAssistants - (all year round)

 

We are looking for relief cleaning/catering staff to cover for sickness and holidays in a number of schools in the Pontefract area.
Hours vary depending on the school -    Mornings or late afternoon / early evening.
 
Rate of pay-
 
Cleaning Assistants - £7.52 per hour
Catering Assistants - £7.90 per hour
 
The above rates are correct as at November 2016. Please contact the School to obtain the current rates.
 
Full training will be provided and could lead to permanent employment.
