National Cup Quarter Final April 28th 2016

The Year 7 Rugby League team were drawn against St John Fisher School London in the quarter finals of the National Cup.  The Carleton team started very well and scored the first try within the first two minutes and further tries gave them a 14-0 lead at half time.  The team were spreading the ball well to both sides of the pitch and giving their players plenty of opportunities to outflank the opposition.

In the second half the London team finally adapted to the speed of the game and scored their first try to narrow the lead to eight points.  A dive over from acting half back restored the Carleton lead and although St John Fisher managed to cross the line twice more, these tries were not converted and the final whistle went for Carleton to win 22-14.
