Global Technology Challenge

On Thursday September 21st Year 9 Business Studies Groups had the opportunity to take part in the Ahead Partnership /XPOLogistics (one of the world’s top 10 logistics company) XPO Global Technology Challenge.

The students have been set the challenge by XPO to research, develop and evaluate their own creative supply chain operation.

This will be needed to deliver “ASOS Sunglasses to Australia for Christmas”. The student have six weeks to put together their plans and develop a presentation, to be presented to a distinguished panel of expert judges.

They will be competing against other schools in Yorkshire to develop a solution that is cost and time effective, as well as finding opportunities to use new technologies to make the delivery more efficient.

Good Luck to all competitors.
