In September 2017 the management and provision of school meals was taken over by Chartwells Catering.  A letter that was sent to parents concerning this can be downloaded here and a sample of the menus that will be provided can be found here.  To see more about our caterers you can visit their web site.

Here are some photographs taken of the new provision.

The Smoothie Bike

Our new caterers, Chartwells, came to our Induction Evening on July 6th and the photos below feature our students making a “Healthy Fruit Smoothie” by pedalling a “Smoothie Bike”.

The school operates a Cafeteria service using a cashless system with opening hours -

    • 08:00 - 08:30 Breakfast Club
    • 11:15 - 11:30 Morning Break
    • 12:30 - 13:05 Lunch

Money can be added to a student's account by using one of the coin machines in the dining hall or by enclosing cheques or notes in a named envelope which is then posted in the nearby post box. Food can then be purchased up to the limit of the student's account balance.

Students can choose from a wide selection of food products, or may simply purchase one of the set menus that follow a three weekly cycle and can be seen on the following pages. Any student wanting to can pre-order sandwiches, drinks or sweets at the Breakfast Club and these can then be collected at Morning Break.

Below is a photograph showing the brand new facilities.
